Molzen Corbin Factoids

Molzen Corbin was originally founded by Mr. Dayton Molzen, PE, who established D.F. Molzen in 1960.

Molzen Corbin designed the runway and infrastructure for Spaceport America, envisioned as the world’s first commercial spaceport.

Adelmo “Del” Archuleta took on the leadership of Molzen Corbin as CEO in 1984.

In 2010, NMSU bestowed an Honorary Doctorate degree to Del for his technical accomplishments and many years of dedicated service to his alma mater.

Del has served on New Mexico Mutual's Board of Directors since 2009 and currently serves as its Chairman of the Board.

Del was appointed by former Governor Richardson to the State Board of Education in 2003.

In 2012, Molzen Corbin received ACEC’s National Recognition in Engineering Excellence award for the UNM “PIT” Arena.

Molzen Corbin received the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce‘s Maxie Anderson Award for business leadership.

The UNM “PIT” Arena, whose recent renovation was designed by Molzen Corbin, has been recognized by Sports Illustrated as a Top 10 world-renowned sports venue.
