Barelas Storm Drainage
100-year storms overwhelmed the Barelas Pump Station in Albuquerque in 2006, contributing to flooding that displaced dozens of residents. The City issued an emergency contract to Molzen Corbin for pump station modifications and within a fast-paced 8 months, cost-effective improvements were designed and completed, including an innovative bar screen application representing the first of its kind in the southwest.
