Highlands University Golf Course

Effluent reuse water is stored in a 250,000-gallon steel reservoir at the treatment plant in the City of Las Vegas, NM. Most of this reuse water is pumped to storage ponds incorporated into the redesign of the Highlands University Golf Course, and is now used to irrigate the course. Other reuse water is applied to baseball fields at Keys Park. The system is currently being expanded to serve several other sites in the City of Las Vegas.
