Heritage Park is a 13.3-acre, multi-purpose recreational park with volleyball and basketball courts, two soccer fields, a playground, a jogging/walking/ cycling trail, and a skateboard facility. The project included grading and irrigation at the multi-purpose fields, a picnic area, and a recreational vehicle dump station. The park also includes a skateboard facility that incorporates structures that skaters love to use in the street—such as ramps, planters, stairs, and rails—plus a half-pipe, bowl, pyramid, and fly box. The facility is the culmination of ideas expressed through drawings and models from in-line and board skaters from the community and synthesized by the Molzen Corbin design team.
