The talents of the Molzen Corbin design team integrated the needs of the community on a site owned by the Village and provided ample space for the building, as well as space for maneuverability of large vehicles and a training yard with a training tower. This facility is approximately 16,000 square-feet and includes five drive-thru apparatus bays for firefighting and emergency response vehicles, along with apparatus bay support areas. To support continuous operations, the facility also includes administrative, training, and residential areas (including 6 dorms, dayroom, kitchen, dining, exercise room, outdoor porch and activity area, and several bathrooms). The result is a highly functional, superior quality, and elegantly designed, state-of-the-art public amenity.
