Molzen Corbin designed the facility as a multi-phased project, with the first phase including the 5,000-square-foot indoor swimming pool which was the first year-round pool to be operated in Northeast New Mexico and Southeast Colorado. The three-phase, 42,000-square-foot building was designed to serve as a community fitness resource and includes the swimming pools, basketball courts, weights, indoor running track, community meeting room, and a daycare facility in a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly building.
