Taxiway F was extended from Runway 15-33 to the Runway 10 approach. This was a follow-up project to a previous relocation of Taxiway F from the apron to the midfield intersection. Master planning at the time indicated a new, safer Taxiway F route to improve safety and eliminate the need for taxi operations through the midfield intersection. This project was new construction as no taxiway previously existed parallel to Runway 10-28. The new taxiway included a new medium intensity taxiway lighting system (MITL), containing cans and conduits with LED fixtures. In addition, the project included a new runway end identifier lighting (REIL) system on the Runway 10-28 approach.
